Battle Of The Numbers
Wiminvest, now part of We are the Storydoers, played a big game in 2013. Together withSweden's largest news magazine, Chef, and Eva Swartz Grimaldi, we created, designed and organized the Battle of the Numbers project with ten international companies: Ericsson, H&M, IKEA, SEB, SSAB, SPP, Sandvik SSAB, Scania, SAAB and Volvo to speed up the process of getting more women into high-operating positions.
Some of the results
- All the companies initiated gender diversity scorecards where KPIs were audited at all managerial levels within their organizations.
- Each company has made gender diversity a strategic priority with ownership at the top levels. The CEOs have also communicated this focus through strategic statements at their annual shareholder meetings, in annual reports, and in internal and external press.
- 90% of the women participating in the project state that, after only one year from the project’s end date, they were able to reach their next career step.
- The project was awarded two prizes as the most innovative communication project in Sweden that year, as well as Sofia Falk was recognized as one of the top 150 super-communicators in Sweden.
